This orphaned possum has herself an unusual – a toy kangaroo!

The four-month-old joey, Bettina, was brought to Australia’s Taronga Wildlife

Hospital in September, after being found alone and suffering from .

With round-the-clock , she was nursed back to health, making herself at

home in a makeshift pouch and being bottle-fed.

But not without the help of her fluffy, soft toy pal which she to tightly while feeding and sleeping.

Bettina is one of two being looked after by vet nurse Felicity Evans at the hospital.

Taronga Wildlife Hospital cares for and more than 1,000 injured or native

animals every year, including , wallabies, possums, birds and sea turtles.
