If you thought you saw aliens around London yesterday, you were not alone.

But fear not, because this the eye-catching convoy carrying a number of slimy creatures was nothing more than a publicity stunt for Independence Day: Resurgence.

The movie sees London and other major cities come under alien attack. These aliens though are the work of sculptor Samantha Williams and were created in Wales over the past two months. On their trip around London, they took in some of the city's most famous sites but thankfully all were still intact once they left. Independence Day: Resurgence is in cinemas in the UK this weekend.
